People are going to go mental when they find out what percentage of the images they’re looking at every day HAVEN’T been photoshopped.

The original claim by the palace when the photo was first published is that it was taken by Willy earlier in the week. Making your sarcasm slightly backfire.

I was on photos duty at a family Christening yesterday. Not one of them would pass press agency photo rules, all have been adjusted 🤷🏻♂️
the weird thing for me is not that the picture was modified but that anyone cared enough about their "family photo" to study it carefully enough to spot the anomalies. But then its not incredible to me that Kate (who is widely known to enjoy photography) has taken the images will stuffed up and tried to make them better!
They probably aren't - but there are rumours about unrest in the HoW and so anything that could be claimed as pointing to some kind of a cover up is going to be seized upon.

I genuinely can't remember her name but I saw a comedian who said "the last fight I had with my boyfriend was because he liked a picture of my best friend in her bikini on holiday in Greece...six years ago. The problem is that social media makes it too easy to trawl. Before Facebook if you wanted to see photos of your friends in sexy gear, you'd have had to have open a Snappy Snaps..."

Pretty simple, they're on my facebook, you get the daily pictures on FB feeds.
Anyway, about Kate, it's just weird they thought they had to send out a picture without any real chasing by the press for one, now the cover up becomes the story, even if there isn't one. I'm just not sure why the Royal household didn't just say 'Kates had an operation, she's recuperating, she'll be back to appearances in x weeks', why they need to send out the everything's rosy stuff is the weird thing.

Looking at their social media this morning there are many family pics on there, and always some on Mother's Day, Father's Day etc. A mix of official (credited to the photographer) or taken by her. People like a good conspiracy.
They cant just say nothing because it has been so long. She hasn’t worked this year yet which by anyone’s standards is a long time off work. This was compounded by billy deciding he couldn’t work becuase she wasn’t working and only came out of hiding after his dad asked for help. It just doesn’t fit the narrative they are trying to stick to

Kate had abdominal surgery because she tried to kill herself and is now on a private psych ward.

My wife had surgery on her foot and I took a week off to help her - I hadn't realised I would be criticised for being a caring husband! Now obviously she will have all the physical support and help she needs so I doubt he was fetching tea and biscuits like me!

Indeed. A hysterectomy is not a trivial operation and would require lots of recovery for a 'normal' person let alone the future queen who doesn't have to worry about getting back to work to keep a roof over her head. TBH I'm beginning to admire the wall of silence from them about what's going on.
When all's days and done though, its likely really p*ssed off 30p Lee that he's changed party allegiance (again) on the day this non event has taken over the news!

Just leave her alone. We have absolutely no need to know what she’s had done, where she is or what’s going on. Just proves Harry is actually right.
I think the point is that the overwhelming majority of people were happily leaving her alone or showing zero interest. They then release a heavily, and obviously, manipulated photo in an obscure attempt to say nothing to see here. In doing so they thrust the story front and centre into public consciousness.

My understanding is that there were some pretty wild rimours on social media that they wanted to quash. This has proved it would have been better to ignore them.

Interesting assumption that they "wanted to quash" rumours. I would assume that in their position they will be quite good at ignoring social media rumours. I believe they traditionally post a family photo around Mothering Sunday - not to do so would have potentially fueled more speculation, or at least implied that something had changed. They've really just stuck to their usual routine... as usual, it is the media getting in a tizz over **** all.

We have a right to know about their working lives, earnings and business interests. We don't have a right to their medical information.
