I just found out the karting near Macmerry on the A1 is now shut, the outdoor track was a cracker and there was none of the yellow flag for the slightest thing nor did i ever see a black flag you were just allowed to race so where now? Once maybe twice a year £50 well spent and usually 20 of us

Well it's a fair way south of Macmerry..but it's the only outdoor track that I know of ..

My kids love the track at Aviemore.

I went karting in Aviemore 40 years ago it was the only good thing about the place back then I hope its a bit better now, although once in the Cairngorms its a fantastic place avoiding that railway and ski bits
