It's OK, has too much of the "Killing in the name of" about it for my liking

I heard it too. I had to go and turn the radio down as she;s shouting a bit too loud ๐Ÿ™‚

Id just turned it up for Red Eyes by The war on drugs though, which I'm afraid is more my thang...

Red Eyes by The war on drugs

Just checked that - I've got a fair bit of stuff on the Secretly Canadian label, nothing by them - but by god that song is so familiar! Why?!

there's a hint of organ of something similar to the use in the Boy and Bear single. I reckon, anyway. And I love both tracks.

The War on drugs song is produced like an early 80s Springsteen song - specifically the reverb on the "whoops" sounds like the Badlands album

It's a good album if you like that sort of thing

have had to turn all radios off today. Instrumental tracks only until my heart stops hurting quite so much.

I've seen The Apples live in Manchester - really good. Not convinced that vocal fits with the track though personally.

This could possibly be because it's a remix of a funk cover of said song!
