My beloved 72 plate R1250GS has just been stolen. It was outside my gym with a Litelok X3 and an alarm. The ****ers cut through the spokes and reportedly used a Harley to push the bike out. The police were on it immediately, to their credit, and found the tracker amongst bits smashed off the bike.
It's a David Lloyd gym and literally hundreds of people there, coming and going and the thieves were seen scoping the bike an hour earlier and then came in all masked up.
Sorry to hear that, absolutely gutting feeling 😕does seem to be a popular one to nick, mate his nicked whilst visiting his wife at hospital and another had an earlier gs1200 nicked but they failed to disarm the tracker so he got that one back.
The following question is not going to help in any way - but as a GS owner with an X3 I have to ask....You put the lock through the spokes or around the tyre ?Â
I would not be upset if the thieves had strained themselves pushing the GS out..
