Legendary former Partick Thistle manager. Noted for many things in Scottish football, but probably best known for the fact that during a match Lambie was told told that striker Colin McGlashan was concussed and didn’t know who he was.
The boss replied: “Great. Tell him he’s Pelé and get him back on.”

I remember being 100 feet away from the dugout and could hear him shouting at his players to "dinnae pussy wi the ba, pert wi it fester!" PROPER old school.
