Sat opposite him on a train from Euston to Manchester in about 1990. He smelled of wee.

I've also seen him on stage in a double bill with Atila the Stockbroker in the late 80's 8)

I really enjoyed the episodes of Chain Reaction he was on - especially his opinions about Finland

My mum used to be a massive JCC fan.

John Hegley is where it's at nowadays.

I miss him. A genuinely funny bloke. ๐Ÿ˜

Authentic Northern ledge is JCC.
Nice to see him working again now he's kicked the smack.

Back in the '80's it was either him or Ted Chippington supporting the midweek acts at the International - he used to turn up, wired to the gills, with all his material in a Co-Op carrier bag. ๐Ÿ™‚

His brother's a postie, drinks in the Marble Arch mid-afternoons when he's finished his shift.
He's not as cool as his brother, but possibly even funnier. ๐Ÿ˜€
