i have been looking at a few bass videos today on youtube (i really want to buy my first bass and try and learn how to play one 😀

the guy is incredible 😯 😀
i think it might be a while before attempting any of his bass playing 😆
Astonishing bass player. Was with Weather Report, a sort of Jazz-fusion rock band, and he also worked a lot with Joni Mitchell, check out her albums [i]The Hissing Of Summer Lawns[/i] and [i]Hejira[/i].
Also check out Herby Flowers, he played the bass on [i]Walk On The Wild Side[/i].
I learned the intro to one of his songs once and that was enough for me. But I don't have double-jointed thumbs so I never stood a chance anyway.
One of my biggest inspirations on Bass. I played a version of 'A Portrait of Tracy' on the radio last week.
