After being off my bike for over 7 months I finally got out for a bimble today. Just a local 10 mile loop of mostly fire-road with a couple of bits of benign single track, but it was great.
Get out for a ride if you can!
Wish I could - so jealous. Unfortunately working today and then have to go pick up my daughter from uni. Hope the fine weather lasts until next week!
Been out on a road ride today.
Miss riding the MTB, don't miss having to load it in the car and drive 30 minutes each way for worthwhile riding.
Like that forward GoPro style mount on the OP's bike though. That looks quite neat Vs the clunky brackets we've got.
Dropped daughter off for an orchestra week today, but I am now home alone till Friday.
Sunday: club road ride
Monday: Council health ride - gravel
Tuesday: different club pub ride
Wednesday: marshalling TT
Thursday: our club pub ride
Friday: marshalling hill climb
Obviously missing my family...
I was working a late shift all last week so made a point of going for a 1 hour road ride every day and to try and average 17mph
Got the 17mph average on the Friday, thats one thing i love about the road bike, i can do a quick ride from my door and get some exercise before work rather than sitting in all morning waiting to go to work
Went for a E-MTB blast this morning, 20 miles in Turbo and all off road, lots of overgrown trails and bridleways out there, some have disappeared completely!
Just back from a 85kms gravel and tarmac ride on the Tempest; in spite of lathering myself like a greasy pig in factor 50 the sun still got me. But a big mug of tea sorts all issues out.
In Italy at the moment but the number of people riding here on all sorts has me missing the bike for the first time in ages. Been Googling fork sevices and bearing kits so might resurrct my full suss.

Clouds, wind, and rain for me today - northern Scotland. Still enjoyed it. Only light rain and the wind meant no midgies or cleggs. Two days ago same area saw a Sea Eagle within 50 yards lifting off and flying across the glen.
Sunday is my riding day and unfortunately we have rain forecast. I'll still be going out though.

Out this morning - it had rained heavily overnight and was drizzling most the ride. Actually enjoyed the moisture, on the trail and in the air.

Went out for a run - it was like jogging through a Turkish bath. I don't think I will ever get dry.
(I washed the car yesterday, so apologies for hastening the end of the dry spell)
Duller and windy with slight drizzle here this morning. Hummed and hawed about goi g to the trail centre, then decided I would. Loaded car etc and headed off (20 mins away). Arrived a trail head to discover there is a race on today so trails shut! That’s that then. Headed home to watch F1 instead,
