I got a virus a while ago and sorted it out, just ran SpyBot and it has picked up one problem which says W3i.IQ5.Fraud, I cant remove this as I am not an administrator. I need to book some hotel stuff should I be worried, will my meager means be robbed by cyber thief's?

How I do remove this unwanted guest?

you could do a lot worse than follow the approach here (and read the comments also - some of which are valid/constructive criticism)

http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/kill-windows-viruses-ubuntu-live-cd/

you could also do a lot worse than deleting windows especially if all you are doing is surfing the web and doing documents etc

in Linux world you simply aren't plagued by viruses and things you download do not have executable permissions automatically

Have you tried running spybot as an administrator using the context menu?
