Didn't you do geography at school??

Theres a thing up the middle of the country called the Pennines. Rain on the west flows west, and rain on the east flows east... to date the rain is in the west

Well the worst of the rain is on the west, but North Yorkshire has had plenty still and they are on alert.

But if you can get into The King's Arms, you must - they do a great pint of Sam Smiths. 🙂

Granted, it is an acquired taste, but the natural real ale taste is fantastic, no hangovers (unlike their lager) and bl00dy cheap!
