good call. lost a shedload with last years up until oct/early nov when i started to struggle to drop any further (no excuses. was'nt as disciplined) and lost motivation. have whacked on at least a stone since.

the build up to xmas, and ysterdays turkey fest (more meat on a plate that i would eat in a month), have seen me spend the last 24hrs shivering/throwing up/on the loo - in no particular order so def need to get sorted.

after my mother-in-law made some crack at breakfast yesterday about the hooded top she bought me and "how she went all round the town looking for one in my size" then you're damn right i'm in

What is it about indirect family that think they can say what they like?

As long as there is enough public ridicule I will be in. (ridicule of me in order to spur me on/encourage me to put down the biscuit and step away from the tin)

Count me in as well, I could do with getting back to 'racing weight'. Mcobie, a stone by March, what you training for then Chris, or is it just so you can beat Lee up the hills mate?

I'm in.
I'm 30 this year so can't be overweight, unfit and 30. Too depressing.
Might go for slightly overweight, bit more fit and 30... that feels better. ๐Ÿ™‚

Maybe iDave could help with an eating plan/lifestyle change? I will admit last year I ate terribly. The year before I was fit as a fiddle and want to be back there. I'd like to loose 3 stone.

I'm up for this - not particularly overweight but could do with motivation turning that flab to muscle!

First weigh in tomorrow then?

I have always thought Monday is a better day for weighing in. Cuts down on the risk of weekend splurges as you know judgement is coming soon ๐Ÿ˜‰

Anyone else is more than welcome to participate, please send me your name and weight and I'll add you to the list.

yamyamblade
birky
holmes81
Chris Howard
jam
geoffj
Chris Lawson
captaincarbon
mooly
postierich
grittyshaker
firestarter
Ian Pinder
steelrider
Andy Whitworth

The first formal weigh in will be Monday 17th. I'll nag you on here and by emither as reminders :-)

As I haven't participated in one of these before, can you let me know which bits of information I'm supposed to make public / keep private.

At the moment, I'm thinking that I'll keep a record and announce who has lost the most / least on a weekly basis, but not disclose the weights of folk. Does that sound right?

Now, time to stay off the lard and get on the bike over the weekend.

Good luck men.

Geoff

You probably need to state what units you want the weights in Geoff....or does Google Docs do all the conversions for you?
