How do I go about getting one? I hardly drink any booze, don't smoke, drive to the gym, swim like a brick.
I want my stomach flat ideally with some resemblance of muscle.
Before you start - I love food in the evening. Especially fat meats. And cakes too.
Now, help me please!
Six packs are made in the kitchen, not in the gym
Need to get your body fat below 10% to show off abbs
As if by magic an advert has appeared on the right>>>
I suspect the only way is to work bloody hard at it. Grrr you need a Montage!
Doesn't matter how toned your stomach muscles are.
If they lie under a thick layer of body fat, you will never have a 6 pack.
Its more about a lack of fat than muscle building.

I had some reasonable definition in my stomach muscles when I was at uni - was doing *loads* of exercise though: track, road and MTB (was MTB racing at a pretty good level throughout), gym work, running, I had a good diet and it all helped.
It was actually fairly easy at uni cos I had a lot more time then to exercise than I do now - being young and fit helped too!
Still no wiser. I used to cycle 400 miles a week and still carried a fat ring round my waist.
Look on it as an emergency energy supply and learn to love it
in the knowledge that the six pack is just below the surface

Here is your problem. Without changing your diet you will never see your abs. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
Hey Tubs ๐
Standard advice would be to cut down your intake and eat more earlier in the day, tailing off your intake as the day goes by. I don't know if that's nonsense or not.
You store fat because you eat more than your body needs. Even if you are cycling to the moon and back every week, if you eat enough cake to get you there and back and just a lickle bit further you'll probably store the excess as fat.
Don't bust a gut and get all body dysmorphic, try and love the skin you're in and be happy to be healthy and fit. A bit of fat is perfectly healthy, nay essential!
Or just eat less.
