I find it's excellent on a Friday to celebrate the end of the working work, on Saturday night it goes down well after a relaxing day and on Sunday it fortifies the body for the forthcoming hell that is Monday.

I try to pass it on but I'm increasingly saddened that whilst it is possible to pass on knowledge to younger generations, wisdom has to be acquired independently of knowledge.

I don't like drinking wine Sunday night because I reek of alcohol on Monday at work so Sunday night is home brew night. You can't argue with that!
I love red wine but will not drink it at home. I have to wait until I am away and staying out for the night, but that's rare, so the good wine stays good.

I ran out of red - very poor management. So Pinot Grigio tonight. Went nicely with the trout though.

Tastes better on Sun, as there is a tinge of guilt knowing I will be up early for work.
Nice Rioja last night along with steak, sweet potato wedges and green beans with caramelised onions.
Monday night down here & a cheeky little Pinot I made last year is going down a treat.
