it contains all my iTunes etc and after dropping it my computer does not recognise it
it seems to be making a contuining "click" when connected - is it possible/worth getting it repaired and if it can be repaired where would i take/send it?

Sounds like the heads may have hit the disks in the fall and the clicking is it trying to read data - probably fairly ****ed. At least you've still (presumably) all your iTunes stuff on your iPod. Don't know of any places I'm afraid and would it be worth it considering how cheap HDs are now?
