New season, new woodpile.
It's been cold and wet all through January here. 600 feet up, ours are starting to bloom. I expect further south they will be old news.

I saw the first one open on Jan 6th here in the squelchy flatlands of the south

We've had them in Stirling for a couple of weeks now.
A bit later than last year when I spotted my first one on Jan 1!
