Hit random and jump to the next song on whatever device you are listening on and post it up.

No double clicks to find something cooler, be honest - want to see some howlers!

Mine was Glasvegas - Silent Night.

I can't abide Glasvegas!

Judas - The Verve, from the album Forth. Truly average song from an album that is even more so. Shame really, because they previously had delivered genius.

Next song a lot better! End of the Road - Jerry Lee Lewis

Even better for the third one. White Lines - Grandmaster Flash & Melle Mel!

Just did it on my iPhone, and got Soungarden - Non-State Actor.
That's out of 1270 tracks.
I'll try it again later with my iPod. That's got around 15,500 tracks, so it'll be very interesting to see what it throws up.
Probably ABBA, or the Carpenters, just to embarrass me... 😀

Jill Scott - La Boom Vent Suite from "The Light Of The Sun" album

shuffle to

Gil Scott-Heron - I Think I'll Call It Morning from "Storm Music - The Best Of Gil Scott-Heron"

I'm happy with that, quite indicative of what's on my iphone at the moment apart from all the detroit techno.

Minnesota, WI by Bon Iver

When I connected the iPhone to the big music library on the computer - where there's considerably shorter odds of something embarrassing appearing - I got Elusive by Scott Matthews.

Both tracks very similar in vibe and nice early morning options. Random? Whatever!

I've forgot about bands such as Soul Asylum and D.A.D (Disneyland after Dark), used to listen to them all the time back in the late 80's/early 90's - gonna have a wee listen to them later 😀

Daft Punk - The Game has Changed (from Tron Legacy Soundtrack)

to

Oliver Hacke - 21.31 (from Superpitcher - Today)

Shortly Followed by:

The Arcade Fire - Neighbourhood #1 (Tunnels)

Then:

Powderfinger - Nature Boy.

That went quite well - I was considering more embarrassment!

Back in the truck now....

Hard drive - so basically a choice of any CD I've had in the slot as it automatically records them...

Oasis - Stay Young

Followed by weirdly....

Oasis - Going Nowhere

Followed by....

Oasis - Wonderwall!!!

Strange as I have 20 odd albums in there and only 2 of them are Oasis. Definitely on random as songs from different albums.

Then

Sonique - It Feels So Good. Off the same bloody album, but 4 tracks on!

Then

Queen - Killer Queen
