Have been kinda happily using some Sennheiser MM50 IP headphone with my phone since getting it June 09, I say 'kinda happily' as I'm on my 3rd set.
Killed the first set after around 5 months, could hear music but no voices - very strange. Got another set from the same supplier and killed them the same way (no voices) within less than a month, so was bit pissed, contacted the supplier & they actually changed both sets.
Now 9 or so month later I've (well a dog) killed the current set (well one earphone) by pulling on the wires whilst in my ears & the g/f has 'miss-layed' the other set I gave her.

So do I persist and buy another set, I know wired headphone are alway going to be fragile, or do I try another make? Got to say I am very happy with the sound quailty, though my g/f complain the mic is a bit useless.

Any other handfree "in-ear" compatible iphone headphones you'd recommend?

I've been using these;

with my iPhone for a few weeks. they work really well, battery lasts a reasonable amount of time, built in radio.

BT is the way to go. I'm using some ok'd Motorola S9s, not the greatest sound but very convenient. Just look out for fakes on eBay.

Thread resurrection time...Anyone else? Iphone headphones with mic????

Just killed my last set of MM50i's and getting more than a little annoyed. Think of maybe trying the MM70i's (volume control on the mic button).
Though I do see sennheiser do a 2 year warrenty so will be returning my mm50i's (can't wait for that to happen though).

Beats Solo HD by Dr Dre. Sound pretty good and come with two cables: one for standard headphone use and one with a Apple-like remote control & mike in them.

Personally, I've got the red ones but maybe the black ones are a little more discreet...

err did I mention I want to ride in them too... though the ibeats in-ear look good, though the warrenty info is some-what interesting

Are you sure your MMP50's are genuine? There are a lot of fakes out there.....

No idea to be totally honest though I have seen the 'fakes' on t'internet & mine don't look like them. I've had something like 5 sets now, they've all been exactly the same (4 sets through amazon), and performed brilliantly until they failed.
Gunna try and send two dead sets back to Sennheiser, no doubt they'll let me know if there fakes.
