Is it just me or is it crap compared with the 4s? Where's all the volume and bass gone??! (And no I haven't got the volume limit on)
Suprised how good my 4s sounds when plugged in to my hifi, very good indeed and its a good hifi and lead!

Couldn't possibly comment. I went from 4 to 5, and as far as I can tell there isn't a huge difference, but I swap phones and often use my pod, because it has more music on it. Playing the 5 through my car hifi I would say there's a bit of an improvement with the 5, but I honestly couldn't give a confident answer, because I've never bothered to really compare them.
I've also been using the new EarPods rather than my Shure phones as well, and they sound different too.
I've had 4 4S and now 5 and can't really tell much difference in sound quality, been happy with all of them
I personally find the battery drain when using GPS (Navigon) more of an issue
