bluearsedfly junior no3 has requested a new case for her iPad from Father Christmas.

Current Apple case has stood up well for the past year but is looking a bit tatty. Has to be a full case that protects the corners/screen etc when closed without it looking like one of those military spec cases.

Struggling to find something in between a cover and a full on tough case (preferably in blue) that will do the job.

What is everyone else using?

Not much help but I am using the Apple one.

Tried one from Belkin which was horrible and got sent back.

Snugg here, but not overly reassured with how well it will protect the corners

I got AppleCare plus rather than the life proof case I would otherwise have bought.

I use a Devicewear Ridge folio type. Really good quality, feels top notch and is a clever bit of kit with a smart way of folding into a sturdy wedge-shaped stand that's good angle for typing etc. Also turns off the device when you close it. Only downside (could be mine is a faulty item) is the magnetic closure could be stronger - saying that mrs MR has one on her 3rd gen and that magnet is fine.

Peli case for me, it's a bit weighty but having dropped mine on numerous occasions I can vouch for it being solid & well made!!

Otterbox defender. They are pretty small without the extra cover on them

I've got one of the colorful Apple ones / it was looking pretty shabby and has now failed. I'll be taking it back and if they don't replace it, I might get an Otterbox because I wouldn't buy another Apple one.

Thanks.

Would love a Peli/Otterbox (no2 has an Otterbox for her iPod) but Mum doesn't think they are 'aesthetically pleasing'.

Like the look of the Casecrown Omni in the link simon_g posted. A lot of the cases for sale don't protect the edges which the Apple case has done well so far.
