One point raised in the article, about wifi downloads, etc; you can already do this easily with an EyeFi SD card.
I've read of one photographer who uses an EyeFi card linked to his iPad so clients can view photos as soon as they're taken, and I've seen an announcement by another manufacturer of a wifi SD card adaptor that will accept SD Micro cards up to 32Gb to be easily swapped out, so that use of the Raspberry seems to be redundant, but I can see sophisticated computer remote control of the camera being an interesting possibility.
Other photographers out there with their take on possible ways of using such a set-up?
