I'm taking swmbo to Budapest next month, staying in Pest near the synagogue. I haven't been for 3 or 4 years so looking for any suggestions tbh. I am going to M etterem but other than that I haven't any plans.

I'm assuming since you've been before you've been to Szimpla yes?

Ballet / Opera is a good night out, I took my missus and had a great time, the ticket prices are ridiculously cheap next to what you would pay here (about £25 for premium circle box seats).

I had an excellent 7 course meal in the Gundel Restaurant, although this was a long time ago.

Ys, it's about the third time somebody has asked this in the last few months so lots of people have offered advice, if you do a search.
