I dislike the constriction of sleeping bags and am looking for a multi purpose quilt/ blanket to cover all bases when out an about. It's unlikely to be used in extreme temperatures and prefer something that'll pack to a reasonable size but not break the bank .I see a lot of ideas using the cheap Costco quilt but imagine it's a bit thin for chilly nights unless perhaps I buy two? Any suggestions or ideas would be great. thanks in advance.Bill.

Alpkit or Snugpak depending on your down vs synthetic preference (and £100 vs £45 preference...)
