A lad at work has unwittingly bought some fake trainers from China.
They are held at customs somewhere, and he has received a letter from the brand owner asking him to make a declaration so the goods can be destroyed.
Does he have to respond?

HMRC inspectors have more power than a Police officer. He'd better be careful what he writes.
