Hi, looking to buy a frame from France. Would I get stung with import duty? or being in the EU does it not matter?
I have bought from the USA before and got stung.
Is there a certain value limit before it applies?
Thanks

The whole EU is our domestic market now. The fact that there's a bit of water in between us and the rest doesn't matter.

I have bought from the USA before and got [s]stung[/s] charged the appropriate taxes and duties that everyone else pays when importing goods from outside the EU.
FIFY.....
No duty on import from the EU.

As long as you paid France VAT (or any EU VAT).

Unless you support UKIP....

Depends how many frames you're buying. I'd hazard a guess the revenue may want a chat if you buy a container load ๐
