I see I'm late to the party with this but it popped up on Netflix. Absolutely riveting viewing. Surely it cannot be beyond the wit of man to come up with a better solution? I know the programme presents a very liberal viewpoint, but honestly, how can a modern society think the ICE approach is OK?
Could you translate and explain please. ICE is a high speed train, I don't have Netflix and I'm an immigrant.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement. An agency set up in the USA to do precisely that. It's powers have gradually been ramped up until carte blanche was given under the Trump administration to stop and interrogate people or raid properties where a suspicion of possible illegal immigration exists. Deportations which split families and even deported ex American service personell.
