There's not much detail on that link, but the guy is saying he'd never hurt the snake - and it's only doing what it would in the wild - I don't understand however how he's going to get out without killing the snake.

I remember reading as a child that if attacked by a giant snake you should lie still so as to appear dead and wait for the snake to eat you feet first. Once its up to your knees its pretty much incapacitated so you can sit up and clobber it with whatever is at hand.
I've carried that nugget of information with me for 30 years now and never had a chance to use it. Yet.
I sort of hope it all goes wrong for him.
There was that Sef Efrican Steve Irwin type who wanted to touch a king cobra as it reared up.

My uncle used to be in the army based out in Burma, he showed us pictures once of when they were on patrol in the jungle and bivvying for the night in hammocks.

The same thing happens with all new technologies. When the piano was invented it was hailed its technical and expressive advances over the harpsichord and clavichord, but now people just use pianos for downloading porn and stalking their ex girlfriends.
