Second day of illness, and I’m bored at home!

Not feeling like im going to see my breakfast again today, but can’t stand up for any length of time without feeling faint and dizzy with a blinding headache. How can I fill my day? Screens don’t seem too bad, but I can’t watch cycling without a bucket handy 😢

What can I do (apart from my wife’s suggestion of the washing and housework) to fill the day until the in laws arrive later for the weekend to bore me even more!

Dose yourself up with the best medication you've got, try and get some sleep and then maybe you'll feel up to getting out on the bike this afternoon 😀

A bit old school but how about reading a book. Perhaps sit in the garden to do it. Simple pleasures and all that.

How about the washing and the housework?

Then some cider?

Me too, tummy bugs suck. Can't sleep so catching up on Handmaid's Tale, trying not to stress-out about our house move and thinking about when my BFe26 might arrive...

Get all your digital photographs sorted, cloud storage etc, the kinda stuff that you never do when you're not ill...

Go on a magical mystery youtube music tour, start off listening to something you haven't heard for a while then keep clicking the related videos below and before you know it the day will be over and you'll be listening to something completely different to where you started!

I can lose hours doing this.

I was ill yesterday. Spent the morning asleep in bed until 11:30. I'd recommend this, it's a wonderful way to spend time.

Then I sat and watched telly. And typed some (probably abusive) messages on a well known cycling forum.

Then I fitted a tyre to my son's bike. Watched some more telly, mostly rugby and Walter Presents stuff. And Countdown! haven't seen Countdown for years. Rachel Riley likes putting rude words up doesn't she. Always has a cheeky grin on her face.

Howabout man’s all time favourite solo activity.

Could combine this with Dezb's suggestion of Rachel Riley on Countdown

@kayak23 would you prefer it if they were tethered?
