Some friends of mine many years ago in Wellington had a band called:
"Vas Deferens" (they were bad)
Worst band name I have ever heard "Buddha Crush" they were OK but the guy I knew left as he hated the name so much !
I remember this from here a while ago, but the following technique can be used for this very thing:Hit and hope design? ...it works!
1 - Go to "wikipedia." Hit “random” or click http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random/url
The first random wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.
2 - Go to "Random quotations" or click [url= http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3 ]http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3
The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album.
3 - Go to flickr and click on “explore the last seven days” or click http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days
Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.

been in Seven Dead Astronauts. Renamed to Seven Dead Americans. I left the band in 1990, shortly after that they changed the name to Bomb Circle.

My mate (who may well pop up on this thread) was in a band called Pubic Fringe. He was chatting to the bass player of a local punk band, who said 'Pubic Fringe? that's a shite name'.
Turns out the punk bassist is in a band called Dogshit Sandwich. Look 'em up.

4skins were a skinhead band, around at the same time as peter and the test tube babies. I would quite like a band called "The Felchers" would probably upset a few folk though!!!
Me and my mate Graham got fed up of the fact that everyone else that used to drink in the Tap and the Cas Rock was in a band, so we made one up (he played keys, I played bass and we had a drum machine. Or would have, had we existed).
Depending on who got to drop the name first... If it was Graham, we were Pubic Inferno. But if it was me, we were Millstone. Millstone were pretty heavy. I almost went with Pendulum but that sounded stupid.

I always liked pedigree scum, a punk band. An old band mate came up with Pearl harbor Necklace. We never used it but always made me laugh.
