Good point about fuel/ammunition; however, ideally the need to keep the shambling bastards at something more than arm's length would be desirable.
I do like the shovel, though, the amount of sheer havoc you could wreak with that if it came to close-quarters stuff is going to be pretty spectacular, plus you can smash doors in/pry them open, etc.
The bill hook on a six-foot pole would be handy, but there's the problem of using it in awkward places.

Assuming I can find food etc the main problem is getting away from a large group of zombies. Sure a car or armoured vehicle would be great but once it's run out of fuel and you cant get any more your a bit ****ed. A bike would be perfect, a giant anthem or SC Blur TR would be perfect i reckon. Easy enough to ride quickly on the road and still capable on a mountain or in a forest. Equip it with bombers and you've got a good weapon too 😛
Even Lt Dan could get away from zombies - have you seen how slow they are?
