I've had this key ring for about twenty years. It lets you mount the rings on little brass plated nuggets that slot into a rail, so you can easily detach/attach individual sets of keys.

It came with enough to hold about eight rings, but inevitably I've misplaced some and now only have three. I know similar, slightly fancier key rings are still made, but can't for the life of me find out what the bit below is called so as to buy spares. Anyone have any idea?

I don't know what the part is called. However if you put "detachable keyring" into eBay or Google shopping a similar keyring can be had for about a fiver.

Cheers Stuart.

Someone, somewhere manufactures this part, and several keyring manufacturers order them. If the STW hivemind can't name it though, it must be an obscure secret.
