Our local "corner shop" is an Iceland (doesn't stay open until 10pm on Sunday like a proper corner shop, but it is five minutes walk away), rarely go in as better supermarkets are the other side of the road but I walked down with the kids recently who declared Iceland the "best shop in the universe".
I think they were swayed by the 1kg jars of ketchup and multibuy Capri Sun... easily impressed, obviously!
