I still think you should hold out for some tiger heart to fill in the gaps. Ok, the scar alone will be worth a few drinks, but legitimately having the heart of a tiger would be one of the coolest things on earth!

Seriously though, good luck. Hang in there and you'll be ok. Let us know how things get on eh?

Happy birthday Mark, glad to hear progress is being made and you are clearer on what you'll have to fight. Having a bovine heart sounds cool, make sure you use a good butchers tho, this place doesn't approve of McDonalds offcuts... I notice that you can't drive or swim, but no mention was made of cycling 😉

Sounds like me after a night on the beers.

Mark ,

been reading some of this thread since it started, but never commented before due to my own personal experiance with my mums cancer. All i can say is keep fighting , do things you have always wanted to do but could never justify , and most strangley forget about it. What i'm trying to say is that it can hang over you and you sit their waiting for the worst and waste whatever time there is, where as if you get run over by a bus you dont have to live your life in fear.

From what i have read this is not you, and i may have repeated what has already been said but best of luck to you and meg.

Mike

Been reading this thread since the early days. Mark, just wanted to say all the best for Friday. Your attitude is amazing; grit and determination has a lot to do with recovery from these things. It makes me realise that however shitty a day I might have had, its nothing and your story really puts perspective on life. Its been really touching reading your posts.
See you for that celebratory drink! Kick its butt hard

Same as so many others on here, I feel incapable of the actual words, or wisdom I wish I could offer. Just one more on the Best Wishes counter, will think about you and Meg on Friday. Good luck fella!

Good vibes coming your way...
Catch up with you soon.

And do as you're told, right! 😉
(Unless they tell you to put a chicken suit on, in which case they're probably just having a laugh.)

Remind Meg if she wants to talk (or not) you both know where we are.
