I'm soon to be confined to a polling station for european election duties. Expected turnout is around 70 people (max) between 7am - 10pm so I will have plenty of time to kill.....
I need a good (non fiction) book or iPad game to keep me going. No internet connection in the polling station so needs to be organised before next week as cannot download on the day. Any suggestions?
If you're a Jonathan Meades fan (small niche) then he has an Autobiography out now.
Or this is free:
found it having listened to the latest more or less podcast featuring Alex Bellos.

You can download iplayer stuff to watch offline now.
Alternatively, google '2048' to enter a living hell of addiction.

tbh donk i don't know the rules for warhammer (i was more into painting the figures as a lad 😉
you shouldn't have any problems with getting into the game (it's like an old worlde version of space hulk 😀
If you are a fan of Walking Dead or similar, there is a fantastic podcast/ radio drama called "We're alive!", but be warned it gets addictive... It is an audio zombie story, well acted and brilliant sound effects.

How about the Guy Martin Autobiography?
Liking the Guy Martin suggestion, thanks!
LSD. It should keep you occupied for 15 hours.

Seconded. Most excellent suggestion.
Any ipad game suggestions? Starting to get seriously concerned about my boredom threshold on Thursday....
Game of thrones, first 3 series on DVD.
And if you only expect 70 pollers, there's a fair chance there'll be a booth spare for when the endless parade of jubblies has the inevitable effect.
