Is it just me? IMHO you can't beat the feel of a good pair of socks. Currently I live in Smartwool low socks. Got a pair of Brashers I love too thoughy I have two other Brasher models that are pants. I've been getting all lustful as all the mags seem to be reviewing loads of socks at the moment and I want some! Just too skint. Though maybe I can stretch to one pair of Woolie Bullies next week when the dole check arrives.

Must feed the habit!

Love Brasher shoes... but my Brasher socks wore through the big toe after just a few times wearing..couldn't be bothered chasing the guarantee though. Rohan socks fared better... but cheaper M&S thermal jobbies are so far showing no signs of fatigue and are very comfy too. So impressed with the first lot at pre Xmas discount price, I went and paid full whack for some more recently.

Bought several pairs of Smartwool socks from Field and Trek, following a 'heads up' from someone on these forums a few weeks ago - they were all half price, and are lovely...

Your sock fetish is fully understandable.

One of my favourite all time ST articles was called ( I think ) "Tuesday night socks". Go did out your old back issues.

It was one of the things that really go me into biking. Not the socks necessarily but the thoughts in the article.

Apparently a puppy is also good but I hear a watermelon's divine!
