My Desire has decided again to switch GPS on at all times even when (I think) no apps are using it...resulting in battery drain or me forgetting to switch it on for endomondo etc 😕
How to sort this?
You sure location services or something tied in with the OS isn't using it?
Not really a proper solution, but I've got the power control widget on my home screen which is dead handy for turning on and off GPS, wifi, etc.

Google latitude. I turned this off and had more control over the GPS.
ditto to headfirst - power control is really useful

No doubt but it's now a case of trying to work out what error 🙂
Thing is Ive not changed any settings.
I didn't change any of mine when this happened to mine. The app updated which I allowed and reset to 'being on' all the time.
Factory reset, sir?
