Hi,
I'm driving to Dover tomorrow morning and had an awful journey on Wednesday night driving anticlockwise round the M25, particuarly from the Dartford tunnel up to the M1 turnoff. Most of it was single lane all the way round.
Has anyone driven clockwise round the M25 from the M1? Where there a lot of roadworks?
I've tried the highways agency website and its looks okay but I'd be grateful to anyone who has made the journey themselves.

I've just done it about an hour ago and it was ok, couple of 50mph sections that were moving ok, took about 40minutes from the M1 to junction 29, two stops before dartford
Don't know about nightime closures though,
I'm travelling tommorrow morning, so hopefully not so many closures.
