I've got a Thule 972 hang-on bike carrier and a Halfords Light-board, but I'm not sure how best to attach the light-board, if I hang it from the bike carrier it can swing about and potentially damage the bike being carried and if I strap it to the bike I'm worried it will scratch or scuff the bike, What is the best option (without buying a different carrier etc)? Thanks

I used to strap mine across the wheels - the rubber sticks out past the rims and if you do the straps up tight they don't rub the rims.
