Need to fit a new bathroom window before it gets a complete makeover in the summer. No finish required on the inside as fully tiled walls.Usual weather sealed on the outside.
How much and how long should this take, the old window will come out real easy as not well fitted sadly. Thanks for any pointers given..... 😃
I'll chuck my guess in the ring at £100.
Do it yourself.
Cost a few Packers, some trim, sealant and frame fixers.
Supply and fit or just labour only fit price?
jim25.....labour only fit price sorry..... 🙂
It's an easy DIY job. Technically needs building regs sign off but I won't tell
Ash the good old building regs 😂😂.
Ours cost £100 last year. It was very small though.
Thanks all, got some idea of what to expect, always helps with peoples own experiences... 😊
Just had a biggish bay window fitted today (inc removal of old one) - took him from 9am - 3:30pm with a quick lunch stop.
No idea how much as he's doing a load of other stuff as well but I'd say he'll charge about £200ish.
As for the OP I'd defo have a go at DIY but if it's on the first floor then I'd get a pro in. £100-125 sounds about right.
I got the builders to do it when refurbing the bathroom, that way the window aligns exactly with tiles.
