Time to change my phone contract. How much data will I need? I haqve WIFI at home for mornings and evening and during the day its mainly twitter/facebook, very little movies eg youtube.
Similar requirements to yourself. I have 250MB that I have never breached. No movies mind.
Don't even think about streaming audio on the phone, listening to 6Music from around 10-3.30 used 500Mb/week. Go for the 3 with unlimited data if you think you might use a fair bit, otherwise 1Gb/month is standard.
Mine's 500Mb/month. Don't think I've ever troubled that limit. That said, most of my data usage is Twitter, email, and a bit of web; I'm always careful to download updates over WiFi and don't stream media over the phone network.
I manage to keep within my 500mb tariff, bit it gets a bit close sometimes!
My 1GB crumbles at my feet, android 4.2 has a data usage monitor in, take a look see what youve been using
I use ~5GB a month, but I am a high powered Businessman.
I decided to go for unlimited data on Three so i could have 6 music in the car (Tune in radio is very good).
Went for an S3 instead of the latest generation of phones.
This is the deal i went for and the service was very good from these people and cheap at £24
