Its the white one Dual core, 2gb RAM but the hard drive packed up, would I get more buying a new hard drive and installing the OS.
They go for silly high prices on ebay. You won't lose much on what you paid for it. I'd stick a new HD in. I have done it on an ibook and its pretty straight forward. Lots of DIY guides on the net.
I've got a 120gb original drive I took out of my dual core macbook, less than 6 months use- you can have it for £15 + postage if you want. Took about 10 minutes tops to change over.
thanks for the info guys yeah reckon i'll have the drive off you, I'll confirm for you by saturday if thats okay i've just smashed my head trying nose wheelies and have a hospital appointment tomorrow anyway
