That Stage 1 landing was impressive.

They lost the signal on the feed I was watching. Did you actually see it land?

No, the feed came back just after it landed I think, pretty cool seeing it there though.

Normally when the feed goes on the landings it normally means something gone wrong but I think it was just a blip this time as it came back on it had landed.

As long as Bob and Doug are OK I don't mind if the stage 1 landing was a con.

I've never seen a "live" landing on the OCISLY. The camera often breaks, once I saw some blurry water drenched lights and another time the plume of steam from Falcon 9 landing in the sea next to the drone ship. But an actual touchdown, no.
Lucky for us, the clouds cleared and we were able to see the Dragon fly over in the twilight tonight.

There must have been cameras on the drone ship??

Regardless of that, I thoroughly enjoyed watching the launch.

I've seen successful landings and to be fair to SpaceX they do normally say very quickly when it's gone wrong and missed.

Result! Where were you? I never considered looking outside (Yorkshire) - figured it'd be too light. I'll check it out later, ISS due at 2211 and Dragon 6-7 minutes after as I understand it.

Yeah, I was quite pleased to see it. I'm in Winterthur, 30km NE of Zürich.

Just watched it go over, it's not everyday you get to see a dragon in the sky

Saw the iss but not the dragon. Too light here in London still. Shame as whole family out looking. Convenient the camera cut out for the landing.

I saw the ISS and the Dragon from my back garden. Pretty cool.

2 things

Their boots, they look like they should be seen in the garden, not space.

How the hell do they operate those screens wearing big thick gloves? I can't operate my phone and I have less than a millimetre of fabric between me and screen.

Do we know if they put a delay on the feed for this one? Could’ve made for some ‘interesting’ footage if they didn’t

Yep, me too. Even with only 10x50 binoculars you can tell the ISS isn't just a single point of light. The dragon was very cool to see, reminds me of the night the last shuttle separated fom ISS and you could see it split into two lights overhead as it passed over.

If you're not seen it this is a good watch. Listen through some decent speakers or headphones with the sound up. The actual launch is about 3:20 into it if you don't want to listen to him explain everything.

I was out for an evening ride so I missed it live. Just caught up with it on the website.

Way too much daylight here to see anything.

That is more impressive than the launch as I was annoyed when I did not see that live.

Those suits look like something from telly tubby land.

Now here's what a proper astronaut looks like
