[Closed] House renovation content...a favour for the FIL

The father-in-law is in the early stages of an extensive house renovation. The first major job was a new roof which is very nice indeed.

In return, I'll post occasional updates on interesting parts of the renovation which includes a working tower clock with chiming bell supported by a 10ft high frame in the living room. The MIL's not so keen on the tower clock plan.
