My girlfriend and I want to go to Harry Potter Studios in Watford(ish) then stay in London for a couple of nights then head to Gatwick to go to Spain for the rest of the week. Does anyone know any good hotels with reasonable parking either in Central London or with good train/tube connections?

Don't you need a special permit now to drive in Central London?
parking in Central London would probably mean major hotels, I reckon you'd be better parking outside with a connection.
I'd drive to Warner - you can go by train to Watford and connecting bus but it's a bit out of the way. If you wanted you could then drive and leave a car at my place (Guildford) train into London from here (easy taxi or I'd happily drop you) and have a better choice of interesting boutique hotels - for example Fox and Anchor at Smithfields http://www.foxandanchor.com/bedrooms/ - then you can Gatwick Express to Gatwick and on your return Guildford is on the GW to Reading train.
