Let me take you to the place
Where membership's a smiling face,
Brush shoulders with the stars.
Where strangers take you by the hand,
And welcome you to wonderland -
From beneath their panamas...

Chorus:
Club Tropicana, drinks are free,
Fun and sunshine - there's enough for everyone.
All that's missing is the sea,
But don't worry, you can suntan!

Castaways and Lovers meet,
Then kiss in Tropicana's heat,
Watch the waves break on the bay.
Soft white sands, a blue lagoon,
Cocktail time, a summer's tune,
A whole night's holiday!

Chorus 2x:
Club Tropicana, drinks are free,
Fun and sunshine - there's enough for everyone.
All that's missing is the sea,
But don't worry, you can suntan!

x2
Pack your bags,
And leave tonight.
Don't take your time,
Gotta move your feet, don't you miss the flight!
Cool, cool, cool, cool

Chorus:
Club Tropicana, drinks are free,
Fun and sunshine - there's enough for everyone.
All that's missing is the sea,
But don't worry, you can suntan!

2x
Cool, cool, cool, cool

Ive stayed there. Like most hotels it depends what standard room you get. We just got a cheap and cheerful room and it was just that. Was fine for putting your head down each night but far from being 5* (more like 1* actually).
Opposite MGM Grand so location is ok.

I'm noting a hint of "tut" from ya's? Am I wrong?

Just thought I'd lighten the mood, rah rah skirt stylee..

And hair gel.

And rolled up jacket sleeves.

And pink eye shadow.

And Lemon flavoured T-Shirts.

And spangly tights.

And Andrew Ridgley.

Espadrilles and wayfarers optional, or just for 80's revivalist hipsters?

As Martin said. Its pretty reasonable. I've also stayed in the Excalibur opposite which is of a similar ilk. You'll need a taxi really if you want to go to Freemont Street or Stratosphere, but everything else is walkable from the Tropicana and there's a mono rail that runs behind the casino's for when you get tired. Enjoy your trip!

Don't take a bus unless you have to. On our way up to Freemont street a couple of tramps jumped on the back of the bus when they opened the doors to let people off and caused frigging havoc!
Let's just say my opinion of LV is not the best to put it mildly.

Sounds interesting Martin! I hated being pestered by the guys dishing out the "Girls, Girls, Girls" flyers on every corner. After a day there I thought I was going to absolutely hate the place and considered leaving early, however it slowly got better after seeing a few shows and exploring a bit and i now have good memories of it. After LV i went on to San Francisco, which was just fantastic and altogether more my kind of place.

bueller- yeah was interesting to say the least. We stayed three days and we were counting down the hours after day one, couldn't wait to get out of the place.
It's a bit like Hollywood Blvd in LA, it's not until you go there do you realise that it's just an absolute shite hole, full of freaks, low life and the dregs of American society.

Just my opinion, but I wouldn't go back to LV if I won a holiday competition, in fact, if I knew that was the prize, I wouldn't enter in the first place!
