Anyone have a recommendation for a cosy hotel with good food - the sort of place suitable for a relaxing weekend away as a bit of a treat?
Cheers.
Was thinking of Cotswolds or Devon, but anywhere would do as long as it's not too far north.

Superb spot. Simply superb. Great food, great service, great beer, great beds.
DWA perfection, IMO.

close to Castle Combe, Bath, Cirencester, and there's lots of good walking to be had, with a bunch of good pubs which do good food and excellent beer, the Salutation just up the road, the Castle Inn and White Hart and Manor House in Castle Combe, and the White Hart in Ford, (my local).
