Hi all,

Looking for a hotel or up market B&B recommendation please for a nice treat.

We're dropping the father in law off in Porthmadog and have 2 nights free.

What do you suggest please.

Head to Betws Y Coed. I hear the lakeside is nice. *Loads* to do locally and loads in easy reach.

Busy at the moment like anywhere in blighty but lots of places used covid well and have put tables and chairs outside - meaning the choice of evening eating and drinking venues went up a fair bit.

Nice natural stuff and the marin and penmachno from the door ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh. Beaumarais if you're heading to Anglesey. Went kayaking off Penmon Point today.

Second the suggestion of Portmeirion. It's a wonderful place to stay & there is nothing like waking up in the village and heading down to the Hotel for your breakfast.

Thanks for the suggestions guys.

I phoned up Portmerion and they're fully booked. A shame.

I said to Mrs Mc. 'We can't stay there I'm afraid'.

'Why, too expensive' she says! What does that say?

Beaumaris looks great, never been there.

It is, I was lucky enough to live there for 2 years as a student. The Bull is a lovely hotel and the location is stunning.

Nah, it's completely sheltered on that side of the headland.
