Just seen this advert on the telly, paid for by the British Horse Society.
Maybe its time our cycling organisations got proactive & paid for some ads of their own?

They do, but then they get banned because the riders depicted aren't all wearing helmets or riding in the gutter.

What, like "Think Horse"? (I would do a link, but it appears to have been banned on youtube following the ruling, despite ASA withdrawing their ruling).

Haven't Scotland got a "See bike, think horse" campaign on the go?

I'm slightly offended that anyone would drive up behind me in my roadie pomp and splendour and think "Horse!"

That was Cycling Scotland wasn't it?
CTC should fund one exploding some of the more pernicious myth's doing the rounds. I'd pay towards that.

Its i handy analogy - like horses, we cyclists also have bits of metal screwed to the soles of our feet and will try and kick your face off if we're spooked. And we like sweets.
