are there any? have you seen any?. i live at Summit on the PBW/ MTL. I ride the PBW 'south' occasionally and yesterday i rode 6 or so miles without as much as a hoof print or dont they wear shoes any more?
there are horses occaisionaly i cycle up that way often but more often than not i see horses regularly at Bottomly (MTL) 😉
Yes, I've seen them up on Deerplay Moor on the MTL and you can tell when they've been out when it's wet, the trail gets chewed up in places. Shouldn't knock our equestrian friends though, there would be no MTL without them. In fact we should take a leaf out of their book, the equestrian community is much better at organising itself and securing better access. Lucky fo us we benefit as well.

I don't, they are much smarter than us. If we break our bike out on the trail and can't fix it we have to carry it home. If they break their horse they can eat it.
