Hi there, i recently recieved a refund from an ebay seller on paypal which has gone into my paypal account however it is on "temporary hold" and has this message
"Temporary Hold Information: This temporary hold was placed because your Direct Debit or Bank Funding payment was denied, cancelled, or refunded.The funds from this payment cannot be released until they have arrived from your bank account, which usually takes 7-9 working days."
Anyone able to tell me that this means and has it happened to you before? I dont get it...
It happens every time you've send a payment funded by your card/bank account, and it gets refunded.
They are covering there backsides, and earning some more intrest in the process- they wait till they are 100% sure the original payment has cleared before releasing the refund.
