I am looking for a 24VAC 500ma power supply for christmas lights, our current one is damaged. It has a single pin round connector with the female end on the plug.

I can't seem to find one using my admitedly weak google skill bar omes which have the male end on the plug.

Can amyone help?

Female socket for an output is much less common. Can you cut the existing one off and wire to a new power supply? Or make a gender changer with a female-female lead
